The Castaic Union School District (District) is seeking an Assistant Superintendent of Business Services.

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services will provide leadership for the Business Services Division. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for providing service-based organizational support to sites within the context of adopted District goals and site plans. The Assistant Superintendent of Business Services shall be responsible for providing organization services to departments and sites that are results-oriented and collaborative.

The District serves nearly 1,900 students in grades TK-8 and has a total General Fund operating budget of approximately $28 million.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
• Administrative credential and/or doctorate degree desirable
• Successful, increasingly responsible experience in public school administration or public/private sector finance
