Responsibilities and Impact: Leads and directs the Patricia A. Tomson Center for Violence Prevention’s involvement in identifying emerging issues, needs and strategies in violence prevention; advocates for and systematically implements prevention education, training and programming; facilitates and directs multi-level prevention approaches with institutions of higher education, K-12 school districts, and community stakeholders around bullying and gender based violence throughout the state of Iowa and regionally; evaluates and disseminates outcomes to key stakeholders; facilitates the engagement of men as allies in gender based violence prevention; represents UNI on key state, regional and national education and public health committees, advisory boards or task forces fo
