Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent, Human Resources/designee, the Executive Director of Employee Relations directs the operations of the employee relations section in the Human Resources department. The Executive Director provides assistance, analyses, and advice in the specialized field of employer-employee relations and labor laws including performance management, employee discipline, collective bargaining, administrative hearings and proceedings, conducts investigations, advises management on a variety of complex employee relations actions, and recommends policy and regulations. Assures compliance with bargaining unit agreements, State and federal laws, Board/District policies and regulations, and other applicable rules.
