The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for an ongoing non tenure-track Lecturer position in Exercise Science, to begin August 1, 2023. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Exercise Science major, support the co-curricular experiences of exercise science majors and be an active and engaged member of the Kinesiology Department and the School of Education and Health Sciences. The School of Education and Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate health professions programs including Nutrition Science, Health Science, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy (pending accreditation), Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant Studies in a collaborative and interprofessional environment.
Applicants must have a minimum of a master's degree in a related field; an earned doctoral degree is preferred. Experience with teaching is strongly desired. We are especially seeking applicants who hold the CSCS and/or CEP credential(s). Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
