The Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill is seeking a Medical Director for its growing Obesity Medicine program. UNC's multidisciplinary weight management services are multimodal with tight integration of lifestyle, behavioral, pharmacological, endoscopic, and surgical therapies. The ideal candidate will have the interest and experience needed to grow the clinical, educational, and research missions of the weight management program in a manner consistent with a large academic medical center. Candidates should be board certified in Obesity Medicine. Academic rank is open and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As this is an open rank posting, the candidate hired into this position could be hired into a fixed term, variable track or tenure track faculty appointment.

Education and Experience:
