The Department of Department of Health Sciences in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a course instructor opening for Nutrition and Metabolism for the spring 2023 semester.
Individuals interested in this position must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in a related area. Excellence in college level student centered teaching and work experience related to the course content is preferred. Experience in teaching concepts related energy and nutrition metabolism and pathways is also preferred. Applicants should indicate in their cover letter how their professional and teaching experiences qualifies them to teach this course.

- NUTR 220 Nutrition and Metabolism The study of nutrients is continued through a biochemical and biological perspective by examining the process of digestion, absorption and metabolism. Biochemical principles of nutrition and metabolism are discussed in relation to the body's normal state of nourishment as well as in altered disease states.
