BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer, the Director of Fiscal Services is responsible for the general management of financial operations of the District; assists in the development, management, and control of the district budget, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and fiscal record management and reporting activities and functions; to plan, organize and oversee accounting and payroll functions; to supervise, review and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; to perform advanced technical and specialized accounting and financial record management and reporting functions; plan, direct and implement sound fiscal management policies and procedures.
