Brief Description of Position: Under the direction of the assigned administrator(s), the assistant principal shall organize, coordinate, and administer student services, curriculum and instruction, student activities, and/or facilities. Responsibilities will include supervision of student discipline and attendance; grade reporting; budget development, preparation, and management; master schedule/calendar development, preparation, and management; assessment and testing; departmental supervision; certificated and classified personnel evaluation; co-curricular and extra-curricular programs; facility and grounds maintenance; coordinate site and field utilization and maintain open and ongoing communication with community groups and the city.
