Position Summary:
The UCI School of Education is focused on advancing educational sciences and contributing to improved educational opportunities and outcomes for individuals across the entire lifespan. Under supervision, the incumbent will be assisting the STEM Learning Lab PI with a LEGO Foundation funded project that focuses on playful learning in K-4th grade students in the Santa Ana Unified School District and other related projects. This will include assisting with organization of the research project, participating in data collection, coordinating between school partner sites, training undergraduate research assistants, data entry, quality control and conducting preliminary analyses. This position is grant funded.

$22.63 - $32.05 (Hourly Rate)
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
Candidates must possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Education or Psychology) Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and excellent customer service skills Demonstrated ability to organize work, attention to detail, and to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to use a computer and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google forms Experience with (standardized) testing of typically developing children.
Preferred:
Prior experience collaborating with the UCI STEM Learning Lab and its projects is desirable. Spanish language skill preferred.
