This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Office Specialist 2 position for the KidSpirit program at Oregon State University (OSU). This is a limited duration appointment expected to last approximately 2 years from the appointment begin date.

Purpose of this Position
This Office Specialist 2 will be a team member of OSU KidSpirit and will perform a wide range of office support, technical, and/or minor administrative or business-related tasks supporting operations for OSU KidSpirit.
This position is the first engaging, public-facing person for campers and families accessing OSU KidSpirit programs will interact with in most instances. Office Specialist 2 provides a variety of administrative support duties to OSU KidSpirit. In particular, this position will support and coordinate the following areas: main office daily operations, training or support of student staff, year-round recreation programs (gymnastics, archery, special events, pre-K programming, non-school day camps, and summer camp), participant registration, student staff schedules, webpage content updates, online registration system management (Ideal-Logic), and data collection and reporting (excel).
This Office Specialist must be knowledgeable about all facets of the OSU KidSpirit and is expected to organize and prioritize everyday workload tasks, monitor progress, and adapt to changing needs. In supporting and managing the programs as mentioned above and services, this individual must coordinate with many campus partners, including the College of Public Health and Human Services, Facilities Services, University Housing and Dining Services, Memorial Union Building Services, Dixon RecSports, Pre-College Programs, OSU Cultural Centers, local school districts, Parks and Recreation, Boys and Girls Clubs, and more.

OSU Division of Extension and Engagement's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An Associate's degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general clerical experience. College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Current valid Adult CPR, AED Essentials, and First Aid certifications by the position's start date.
