LEAD RESEARCHER, EDUCATION PROGRAMS, Economics-Blueprint Labs, to launch and lead the Charter School Research Collaborative based at MIT in Cambridge, MA. Will work closely with Blueprint Labs Directors Parag Pathak and Josh Angrist and its collaborators at other universities.
Blueprint uses data and economics to uncover the consequences of policy choices and improve society. Blueprint's Education Team studies education systems and policies. Its work helps policymakers design more equitable education systems and improve outcomes for children and families.

REQUIRED: master's degree (doctorate preferred) in economics, education, public policy, political science, computer science, or a related field; eight years of relevant experience; a demonstrated track record of conducting research in partnership with charter schools and/or major U.S. school districts; strong management, communication, and technical skills. Salary range: $145,000 - 170,000
This is a full-time, one-year appointment that is renewable annually. An employment term of at least two years is strongly preferred and will begin as soon as possible.
