The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College seeks candidates for a position in Social Psychology or Industrial Organizational Psychology, especially if it involves DEIB-related scholarship. The appointment is open rank, tenure-track or lecturer, dependent on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Appointment may be offered with tenure for qualified candidates. Additional teaching opportunities are available in the College's interdisciplinary general education program and other interdisciplinary programs, including Global Studies, East Asian Studies, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and our new minor in Race and Ethnic Studies. There may also be teaching opportunities in the College's emerging health science programs. North Central College offers a competitive compensation and benefits package; the contract is for 9.5 months with a 3-2 (20 CH) teaching load. Applicants must have an earned doctorate and demonstrate excellence in teaching, mentoring of students in research or internships, and ongoing scholarship or professional activity.
