Basic Functions: Under direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, is a member of the Superintendent's Executive Cabinet and is responsible for the management of the Human Resources Department. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, has the primary responsibility in establishing criteria and recommending employment, assignments, and dismissal of personnel in cooperation with other Administrators. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, will maintain a staff relationship with the principals, all schools, and various department heads comprising the Superintendent's Executive Cabinet.
