Assistant Director for The Institute for Empowering Equitable Education in STEM (E3)

The Assistant Director SPVR will be responsible for aiding the Director in executing the Institute for Empowering Equitable Education in STEM at Rutgers University – Camden (E3)'s vision focused on creating a sustainable culture change in equitable STEM education. This role requires expertise in program development and implementation, particularly in fostering equitable pedagogy, course and curricular design, and university policies.
Supporting the Director, the incumbent oversees the administration of E3: preparing grant submissions, tracking awards, grants budget record-keeping, program operations and reporting. In addition, the Assistant Director oversees E3 personnel. The Assistant Director oversees the marketing and communication of E3 activities and serves as liaison for E3 to the local communities including Camden School District.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Required bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience plus five years' experience; degree preferably in STEM, education or related fields.
Salary: Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets.
