Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the Director of Special Education/Student Supports coordinates all aspects of Special Education services; provides oversight of site-based and district-wide Special Education classified and certificated personnel; coordinates Student Support services in the areas of Behavioral, Mental/Socio-emotional, and Physical Health, as those services pertain to the Individualized Education Plan (IEP); supervises and evaluates assigned Student Support personnel; works with parents and staff members to resolve district-level parent complaints pertaining to students on an IEP; works in conjunction with site- and district-level administrators to coordinate Special Education services; coordinates site-based academic and behavioral intervention serv
