JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official provides leadership for the District's business and support functions in order to maximize resources in service of student achievement. The Chief Business Official serves the district by managing assigned operations in accordance with board-adopted policies; providing information to the Board, Superintendent, staff and public; ensuring compliance to established policies, procedures and/or codes; overseeing various departments including Fiscal Services, Child Nutrition Services, Transportation, Facilities and Maintenance, Purchasing and Warehousing, Risk Management, Extended Day Program and Technology Services; and addressing a variety of administrative needs and processes.
