Under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer, the Executive Director of Special Education administers and supervises the Special Education Department and collaborates with the SELPA Coordinator to provide overall leadership and vision including the development and achievement of short- and long-term goals. The salary for this position is a single rate of $15,015 monthly, with an additional 5% payable for possession of a doctoral degree. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Possession and maintenance of a valid California Administrative Services credential, foundational credential, and English Learner authorization
Five (5) years of successful teaching or administrative experience, two (2) of which must have been in administrative service requiring an Administrative Services Credential
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships within the PUSD learning community
Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in Special Education curriculum or administration, or a closely related field is required
Ability to speak, read and write Spanish fluently is preferred
