Reporting directly to the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent/CBO is the technical expert primarily responsible for managing the district’s financial operations and overseeing the development and implementation of the annual budget. This position is part of the District’s Management Team and the Superintendent’s Senior Cabinet. The Assistant Superintendent/CBO leads and is primarily responsible for various areas, including: accounting and payroll, budgeting, purchasing, attendance, internal controls, maintenance, building and grounds, food service, transportation, facility usage, technology, insurance programs, disaster preparedness, and loss control.
