Description: The Clinical Psychology Program of the Department of Psychology at the University of Houston seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank whose major interests involve children and adolescents. The program is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association and has specialty concentrations in child-family, adult behavior disorders and clinical neuropsychology. Commitment to excellence in research and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level, and in supervision of graduate research and clinical practica is expected. Successful applicants must demonstrate evidence of research productivity and potential for success in securing external funding. Candidates with a background in any area of clinical child psychopathology are encouraged to apply, as are candidates who can interface with the department’s graduate programs in Social, Personality and Health Psychology; Developmental, Cognitive, and Behavioral Neuroscience; and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
