General Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of work experience in K-12 as a campus principal. Online teaching experience. Academic program leadership at the graduate level.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Full-time tenure-track (9 month) position teaching graduate-level courses. Summer teaching opportunities may be available based on department needs. The anticipated start date of this position is Fall 2025.
Serve as coordinator for the online masters program in school leadership and oversee the principal licensure process Primary teaching responsibilities are in the doctoral program in educational leadership and the master's program for the school leadership (principal) program.
Engage in scholarly research, writing, and professional presentations demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and national conferences. Work collaboratively with faculty, school districts, and other education institutions and agencies to sustain consistent program enrollments. Serve in program, institutional, regional, state, and national service opportunities. Engage in program advising efforts and collaborate with faculty/staff regarding program growth. Serve on and eventually chair dissertation committees.

Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):
Earned Doctorate in Educational Leadership or related field (with 18 graduate credit hours in educational leadership at the doctoral level) before August 2025.
Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):
School leadership (i.e., superintendent, principal, or asst. principal) experience in K-12 schools. Experience conducting independent research (e.g., dissertation, peer-reviewed journal articles, etc.). Demonstrated capacity for successful tenure and promotion (e.g., peer-reviewed publications, program evaluations, presentations, grants applications).
