Hesperia Unified School District (District) is seeking an Assistant Superintendent, Business Services.

The District is located in San Bernardino County, California. The District was established in 1987, uniting the Hesperia Elementary School District and Victor Valley Union High School District to better serve the growing community. The District covers 140 square miles and serves the City of Hesperia and adjacent areas in the High Desert of San Bernardino County. The District provides public education services for transitional kindergarten through senior high school students. It includes three comprehensive high schools, two continuation high schools, three middle schools, 12 elementary schools, three choice schools, two alternative schools, one adult education school, and four charter schools with approximately 23,167 students enrolled. The District has a General Fund budget of $400 million.

The successful certificated or classified candidate will have: 

• Master’s degree
• Five years of successful, full-time administrative/business management experience

In addition, certificated candidates will also have:

• Valid California Administrative Credential
• Three years of successful teaching experience
