POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT  

The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District (UCFSD) is seeking an exceptional educational leader to be the next Superintendent of Schools in our award-winning district. The Board desires a transformative leader who embraces the district's values of educational excellence, superior school experience, people-centered culture and principled stewardship. Candidates should be of high character with demonstrated leadership in strategic decision-making, consensus building, and people development and communicate with clarity, authenticity, and purpose.   

UCFSD COMMUNITY

UCFSD is located in beautiful southeastern Pennsylvania, a 77-square-mile area encompassing two counties and seven townships. Our K-12 public school system serves over 4,000 students in six buildings: Unionville High School, Patton Middle School, Chadds Ford Elementary School, Hillendale Elementary School, Pocopson Elementary School, Unionville Elementary School and Unionville-Chadds Ford Virtual Academy (UCFVA).  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS  

• PA Letter of Eligibility or the ability to acquire prior to start date.  
• Doctorate preferred.  
• Prior superintendent experience preferred.  

COMPENSATION  

• Multi-year contract with regionally competitive compensation 
• Comprehensive benefits package 
• Salary range: $240,000 - $300,000 (commensurate with experience)
