The LaFayette CSD Board of Education seeks a visionary and accomplished educational leader to serve as their next Superintendent of Schools. The LaFayette district is located in southern Onondaga County, about 10 miles south of Syracuse. The close-knit district provides a comprehensive and well-rounded education to approximately 800 students across four school buildings, supported by 2,300 dedicated staff members. A distinctive and vital element of this leadership opportunity is the responsibility to honor and actively support the unique and long-standing relationship with the Onondaga Nation. This includes ensuring the continued preservation and promotion of Indigenous language and culture at the Onondaga Nation School.

The Board expects the new superintendent to maintain a residency that allows them to attend to all of the demands of the position, including being visible at school and community events and activities.
