San Luis Coastal Unified School District is looking for a new Director for Elementary Learning and Achievement. The timelines for this recruitment are listed below. This position will start on July 1, 2023. Application period closes: 2/27/23 Screening period: 3/1/23-3/6/23 Applicant notifications: 3/7/23-3/8/23 Initial interviews (committee of district stakeholders): 3/14/23 Final interviews (Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents): 3/16/23 and/or 3/20/2023 An offer will be made shortly after the final interview and the candidate's appointment will be submitted to the School Board for approval on 3/21/23. During May and June we are hoping that there will be opportunities for the new Director to meet with the retiring Director and staff to facilitate a smooth transition.
