The Director of Equity and Improvement is directly responsible to the Associate Superintendent, Learning Support Services, and provides oversight and support for the implementation of Poway Unified School District’s Comprehensive Plan for Prioritizing Racial Equity and Inclusion. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: 1. Plans, organizes and supports equity focused professional learning for all staff inalignment with the Racial Equity and Inclusion Plan. 2. Develops high leverage approaches to professional development for the purpose ofimproving staff’s capacity to deliver on the district’s racial equity goals 3. Facilitates parent and community meetings focused on racial equity and inclusion in orderto foster relational trust and improvement efforts.
