The primary responsibility of the Assistant Director of Special Education Support Services  is to assist the Director as well as  district and on-site special education staff in monitoring and maintaining the quality of services in special education. The Assistant Director of Special Education Support Services will provide administrative oversight to the special education program, coordinate student placements in programs;, monitor the IEP process and the general procedures for services for students with IEPs to ensure that all aspects of compliance are addressed; and, articulate the District program with other schools and agencies.   Essential FunctionsThe Assis
