The Chief Business Officer is responsible for budget development and monitoring procedures; long-range financial planning and budget control administration; management of maintenance, operations, and transportation; food services; grounds; risk management; fiscal contract; administration; and all of the areas related to facilities and technology. Reports to: Superintendent SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervises the management of the financial affairs of the schools- Assumes leadership and responsibility for the effective and efficient utilization of technology in providing financial services to the schools and departments- Establishes and supervises a program of accounting adequate to record in detail all money and credit transactions
