SMMUSD is seeking a collaborative educator for the position of Assistant Principal at Edison Language Academy and McKinley Elementary School. This is a full-time position, with 50% spent at each campus.  Edison is a dual language school in Spanish. Assisting the Principal in administrative functions, including student attendance, discipline, IEP meetings and school activities, the Assistant Principal also supervises and evaluates certificated and classified staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, be student-centered, and have the instructional and administrative experience to support two diverse learning communities of engaged staff, students and parents.  Bilingual/biliterate in Spanish required.  200 days/year.
