The Department of Sociology, Criminology, & Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for two (2) tenure-track positions in Sociology & Criminology to begin August 1, 2025. The contracts are for 9.5 months, with a competitive salary and a 3-2 teaching load. As a department, we are deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces in and outside the classroom. We seek candidates who share this commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and will partner with us as we advance our efforts in this area, inspiring and motivating others to do the same.
Successful applicants are expected to have completed their Ph.D. in Sociology (first position) or Criminology (second position) or closely related fields by August 2025. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, and scholarship.
