Salary Details:
The District contributes $18,425 annually towards any medical benefit plan selection. A monthly payroll deduction is activated to cover any amount over $18,425.

The Position
The position of Director – Certificated Human Resources/Recruitment, Retention, and Leadership Development, under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, shall develop, organize, and implement a comprehensive district-wide recruitment and retention plan, which shall be in alignment with the Board expectations of hiring a diverse workforce that more closely aligns with the ethnic representation of the student population (OE-13); shall develop, organize, and implement a District Leadership Development program; assist the Assistant Superintendent in the administration of all areas aligning with Human Resources department.
Required: -Valid California administrative credential authorizing service in this position -School personnel administration experience in the areas of recruitment and labor relations -A minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in supervising a comprehensive personnel operation or performing the major duties of a personnel operation -Master's Degree or higher -Character, personality, and social capability to relate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and community
The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart/state preschools. In striving to meet the needs of a diverse student body, the District provides a wide array of programs, including special education, instruction for English Learners, Career Technical Education (CTE), athletics, advanced placement, Title I, GATE, and many other services. Total student enrollment is at 21,500.
