Position Summary:
The Department of Leadership, Ethics & Values at North Central College seeks to hire a full-time, on-going non tenure-track Lecturer in Leadership, Ethics & Values, to begin 8/1/2022. Faculty appointed as a lecturer teach 24 credit hours per year (typically six 4-credit hour courses) and hold teaching-faculty status. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses in design thinking, social entrepreneurship, and leadership and will support the LEV Concentration Program. Ability to teach graduate courses in leadership and organizational theory, strategic leadership and organizational design, assessment and evaluation, and diversity and inclusion is desirable. Additional reassigned time may allow a successful candidate to focus on additional program development work in both curricular and co-curricular areas.
A Master's degree in a relevant field is required; a terminal degree is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
