Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the Director V, Public Information and Communications, fulfills board priorities and LCAP goals leading Riverside Unified to BeExtraordinary!. This position directs, develops, plans and implements a comprehensive District communication and marketing plan; prepares and disseminates materials to the public, district staff, the community and news media; works closely with the Board, Superintendent, and Cabinet; serves as an official on-the-record spokesperson for the district. Liaises with all partners, media and the public in crisis situations, providing a conduit between district emergency command and all others.
