Education Leadership Services (ELS) - Chief of External Affairs and Communications - Sage Oak Charter Schools. Salary Range: $191,856-$216,556; STRS eligible; 12 mo./220 days.

This position will lend itself to remote time with required in-person commitments, including but not limited to board meetings typically in San Diego, Sage Oak Summit meetings typically in Riverside, meetings at the schools' Redlands offices, conferences that require travel, occasional overnight obligations, and leadership meetings at various locations within the schools' service area.
Initially, the Chief of External Affairs and Communications will be expected to spend significant time at the office to get to know the team and build relationships. Ongoing, they should continue to be present as needed to maintain and strengthen those relationships.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in an education environment, demonstrated ability in leadership, building relationships, communications, and strategic partnerships. They will have the ability to interact, engage and develop professional relationships within a diverse community.
*Job related experience at a leadership level in education is required. Experience within relevant organizations, such as ACSA, CSDC, CCSA, etc. is preferred
*Bachelors degree is required; California state Administrative Services Credential is required; Masters degree in organizational leadership or education is preferred.
