Salary is negotiable. Compensation will be competitive and comparable to districts of similar size and scope, and commensurate with experience. The District contributes $14,700 towards health benefits.

Due to Retirement — Superintendent Position Available The Corning Union High School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered leader to serve as Superintendent, with an anticipated start date of July 1. This opportunity offers the chance to lead a close-knit district with strong community support and a commitment to excellence in secondary education. Position Overview The Superintendent serves as the chief executive officer and educational leader of the District, working in partnership with the Board of Trustees to implement Board policies, oversee instructional programs, ensure sound fiscal management, and advance the District’s strategic priorities for student success. Desired Leadership Attributes • Focuses District priorities on improving academic achievement through a strategic plan for all students • Provides leadership to implement Board policies, sound fiscal planning, operational efficiencies, and capital improvement projects • Is inclusive, trustworthy, and reliable • An experienced educator with a deep understanding of curriculum, instruction, and accountability Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership for all District operations and instructional programs • Advise and support the Board of Trustees through professional recommendations • Oversee personnel, budget, facilities, and student services • Serve as chief negotiator and community representative • Promote transparent communication and collaborative leadership
