Position Summary
The New Haven Unified School District is seeking a visionary and collaborative Director of K–12 Instruction to provide districtwide leadership in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The Director will support high-quality teaching and learning across all grade levels, ensuring alignment with state standards, district goals, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with site administrators, instructional staff, and district leaders to advance equitable outcomes for all students.
Required:
Valid California Administrative Services Credential
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
Successful K–12 teaching experience
Administrative or leadership experience at the site or district level
Knowledge of California standards, curriculum frameworks, and assessment systems
