Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official shall be responsible for the general management and supervision of all fiscal and business activities of the ROP; prepare, develop, monitor and administer the ROP budget and related policies and controls; plan, coordinate and direct facilities planning, maintenance and repair activities; supervise the performance of assigned personnel.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field and five years increasingly responsible experience in the administration of budgets or accounting activities.

Desired: Master’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field. CBO Certificate from CASBO, FCMAT or USC Rossier School Business Management. Prior experience as Director of Business/Fiscal Services or similar role in managing and developing budgets within a California education system preferred.
